Food chart
Acidic or alkaline
at a glance
Anyone who wants to keep track of their acid-base balance should check how the foods they eat every day can impact the acid-base balance. Do they form acid (load) or base (relief) in the body? The so called PRAL value can serve as orientation. It shows the potential acid load of food for the kidneys:
Negative PRAL value = alkaline
Positive PRAL value = acidic
Food table
The table provides information about the acid load of your foods. In your daily diet, make sure that you have a balance of foods with acidic and alkaline PRAL values.
The information refers to 100 g of food.
